According to Sikh tradition, Guru Nanak\u2019s father, <strong class=\"x7amdea\">Mehta Kalu<\/strong>, gave him twenty rupees and sent him to conduct business, hoping that he would learn how to make a profitable trade.<\/p><p class=\"x1yc453h xma8rkl xgoqxah xutxfr x1fie51u xgyxj25 x1xobyvs x1elgs31 x1fv8qjw xcy5tzr x1ht4adc xnvauns x1c2l018 x14l7nz5 xuw7688 x1pjt2rx x160d6zm xrxpjvj\" dir=\"ltr\">On the journey, Guru Nanak encountered a group of hungry holy men. Instead of purchasing goods for resale, he used the money to provide them with food. When he returned home without the expected merchandise, he explained that feeding those in need had been the <strong class=\"x7amdea\">\u201cSacha Sauda\u201d (the True Bargain)<\/strong> because helping others represented a greater and more meaningful form of profit.
