Today, it is one of Pakistan\u2019s major Sikh pilgrimage destinations and forms the heart of the <strong class=\"x7amdea\">Kartarpur Corridor<\/strong>, which opened in 2019 to allow Sikh pilgrims from India to visit the shrine directly.
